Humans
Humanity first made contact with Xinesh in the year 2045. Several years earlier, NASA scientists had repeatedly sent signals into space, hoping they would one day be intercepted by an intelligent civilization. Against all expectations, a response was actually received. In 2045, NASA was approached by representatives of the Xanu. What followed were years of diplomatic discussions, secret negotiations and scientific exchanges between the two worlds. In 2053, a delegation from Xinesh arrived on Earth for the first time. This group consisted of leaders in interspecies integration, science and infrastructure. After extensive research, it was confirmed that the Earth would become uninhabitable within the foreseeable future due to ecological collapse and climate chain reactions. Around 2065, the planet would no longer be sustainably habitable. The Xanu then offered a large-scale evacuation program. From 2060, the first transports from Earth to Xinesh began. Dozens of ships departed daily, designed and operated by Xinesh technology, each carrying approximately 100,000 people. Over three years, an average of 35 ships departed per day, resulting in one of the largest organized migrations in known interstellar history. Arrival on Xinesh meant a new beginning for humanity, but also a period of uncertainty. Unlike the older species, humans did not possess a naturally developed mana network. Only a minority discovered and activated this ability in the first years after arrival. Today, humans represent a relatively young and still searching species within the complex power structure of Xinesh. They find themselves in a process of cultural, biological and technological adaptation — between the hope of integration and the reality of their vulnerable position.
