The Dri'vech
The Dri'vech trace their origins to their home planet Vre'sal, where for centuries they lived divided across countless tribes. Each tribe possessed its own culture, traditions and philosophy, but all shared a deep-rooted drive for strength, influence and control. The ongoing struggle for dominance between these tribes led to an almost permanent state of war on Vre'sal. Originally, the species was known as the Mastoer, but after hundreds of years of internal conflict, only one tribe ultimately prevailed: the Dri'vech. With their victory, their name became synonymous with the entire species. The prolonged wars, however, had severe consequences. The resources of Vre'sal were exhausted and large parts of the planet became ecologically unstable. The Dri'vech were therefore forced to look to the stars in search of new resources and potential allies. The Xanu were already familiar with Vre'sal and its tribes, but viewed the Mastoer as aggressive and unpredictable. Nevertheless, the Dri'vech eventually managed to establish diplomatic contact. They offered the Xanu a strategic alliance in exchange for access to advanced technology and support for the restoration of their planet. Thanks to this cooperation, Vre'sal has been partially stabilized. Some natural resources are slowly beginning to recover, but full ecological restoration remains far in the future. Until then, the Dri'vech remain a watchful and sometimes pragmatic ally of the Xanu. Within their society today, two clear currents exist: those who commit everything to the restoration and reconstruction of Vre'sal, and those who now see their future on Xinesh — where they are, despite their reputation, respected for their discipline, strategic insight and mental strength.
